Dr. Kleinschmidt is a board-certified physician with a practice in ambulatory and inpatient general medicine. He has collaborated with the Chui SAMS Lab on multiple grants within the CancelRx research portfolio. He is also the Physician Informatics Director for Health IT Safety at UW Health. In this role, he serves on several institutional committees governing the implementation and management of health IT at UW health with a focus on proactive and reactive management of patient safety concerns.
