Dr. Jacobson is an interpretive social scientist and has collaborated with the Chui SAMS Lab on multiple grants within the over-the-counter medication safety portfolio. She uses qualitative, mixed, and community-based participatory methods to study the delivery of health services and the design of health policy. She is also the qualitative methodologist for the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
